Key Benefits
- Branded Emails — Send emails from your own domain (e.g.,
[email protected]) instead of a generic Telzino address. - Consistent Identity — Set a custom “From Name” so recipients see your company name in their inbox.
- Full Delivery Control — Use your own SendGrid account for access to delivery analytics, bounce handling, and reputation management.
How to Configure SendGrid
- In the Telzino Dashboard, navigate to Account Settings > Email Settings.
- Enter the following fields (all are required):
- SendGrid API Key — Your SendGrid API key for authenticating SMTP requests.
- From Email — The sender email address for outbound messages (e.g.,
[email protected]). - From Name — The display name shown alongside the sender address (e.g., your company name).
- Click Verify Configuration to send a test email to your own address and confirm the settings work.
- Click Save Configuration to store the settings.
You can save without verifying, but it is recommended to verify first to confirm your API key and sender details are correct.
What Emails Are Sent?
The SendGrid integration is used for all outbound emails from the platform, including:- Team Member Invitations — Emails sent when you invite new members to your organization.
- Agent Notifications — Emails triggered by agent activity, such as the Send Email function or post-call notifications.
- System Notifications — Platform-level messages such as password resets or security alerts.

- Click Create API Key, give it a name, and select Restricted Access with at least Mail Send permissions.

Troubleshooting
- Test Email Not Received — Check your spam folder. Verify that the From Email domain is authenticated in your SendGrid account (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records).
- Invalid API Key — Ensure you copied the full API key from SendGrid, including the
SG.prefix. - Delivery Failures — Check the SendGrid Activity Feed for bounce or block details. Ensure your sending domain has proper DNS authentication configured.
